Paris Hilton’s baby Phoenix is only 13 months old, but he already has the patience of a saint. In a cute new video, the toddler shows off the latest milestone he achieved — and his impressive focus!

“Look who just learned how to open doors.👶🏼🚪” the A Simple Life alum captioned a video on TikTok. In the video, Phoenix is wearing Mickey Mouse pajamas and a black drool bib as he reaches up on his tiptoes to grab the door handle. He pulls it down, then drops it. Then he slowly reaches up to pull it down again. The door opens a crack, and he tries to fit his little fingers inside to pry it open, but he’s having the most trouble.

He keeps trying, again and again, and we are so amazed by his singular focus! He never cries or gets frustrated, he just stays calm the whole time. Finally, he gets the door open and crawls out to escape. Such a little cutie!

Hilton, who shares Phoenix and 3-month-old daughter London with husband Carter Reum, shared another one of her eldest son’s big milestones this week: learning how to crawl!

“Look who just started crawling👶🏼 #SlivingMom ✨,” the Paris In Love star wrote over a precious video of Phoenix crawling over a pink “That’s Hot” rug in the playroom. “Where are you going, sir?” Hilton asks her son as he crawls away.

The adorable video drew criticism from people who thought Phoenix was “kinda behind” and crawling “so late.” Um, rude!

Phoenix must be going through a growth spurt because he mastered something else this week, too. He’s officially pushing on things to walk — a dangerous stage!

“Baby P is getting so tall! 🥹👶🏼🏀” Hilton captioned a TikTok. In the video, Phoenix is standing up and pushing a toddler-sized basketball hoop around the playroom.  “Look at that big boy!” she says in the video, telling him to “be careful” as he pushes the little playhouse with a basketball net on one side and a slide on the other.

He’ll be zooming all over the house before she knows it!
